He is a pleasant 48-year-old gentleman who in 1975 suffered a severe motor vehicle accident. This resulted in a crushing injury of his left orbit. He had surgeries done for this in the immediate term, as well as later Jones tube place for epiphora.

In the recent past he was seen by a general ophthalmologist who did additional surgery. Mr. xxxx describes this as a subdermal XXXXX material with a cerclage suture. This extruded shortly thereafter. Currently he is taping his left lid shut in the evening to improve his comfort.


This ends in an ser sound. This is on a tape and he cut himself off for the first syllable.
