This is a 31-year-old female who is now some seven months status post an L4-S1 posterior segmental instrumentation fusion with an interbody fusion placed at L5-S1. Her postoperative course was complicated by persistent wound drainage, and she subsequently had decompression of a postoperative seroma and probable postoperative infection and is now **subsequently** three surgeries, including her initial procedure and two subsequent I&Ds and placement of antibiotic beads.
