this right but that's what I hear. The patient is an elderly mentally retarded individual with no living relatives other than a brother. This must be some legality for her but a new term for me. Do I have it right and if so, what does it stand for? TIA

"F" "O", etc? If not, when I look at your FOCO'd I first thought that the patient was a "full code" as refers to resuscitation.

probably -- no more than probably -- right. This is one of those "baloney" amputation moments. Argh! (but LOL)
