The linea alba was opened in the midline. We made a fascial opening just enough to get my hand through a "laparodisk", which was placed in the wound. A 10-12 trocar was then placed in the "laparodisk" and secured, and the abdomen was insufflated with CO2 gas to 14 mmHg continuous pressure.
