Her lab work showed a positive ANA with *centromere pattern speckled,* and there was some concern of whether this could be representative of some sort of systemic sclerosis or other connective tissue disease such as the CREST syndrome.

Aren't these two distinct patterns and indicitive of different results? How best to punctuate this for clarity then?
