it should be typed as dictated. It is our job to change things only if the meaning is so unclear that it would not be understood.

Do like to get a "feel" on how other MTs "think," especially in regard to editing. I'm sure it has a lot to do with how we're individually trained. This is a good forum for that, I suppose. I'm sure I'm guilty of analyzing too much. No, my mind wasn't made up on what I was going to do before posting (if that's what you're thinking).

It really doesn't make much difference in this case either way. Your change didn't change any content, though I do think it was unnecessary.
