This showed no evidence of obstruction with contrast in the small bowel at three and a half to four hours. She subsequently had some barium and hard stool per rectum and felt substantially better by the sixth day in the hospital finding no other significant pathologic process at this time. She was discharged on 08/30/2004 tolerating a liquid diet with instructions to gradually increase her diet as tolerated with enemas if she should feel constipated and only mild laxatives p.o. if needed.
Not sure this makes sense?
