I have used both

I'm faster on a regular keyboard but have numbness in my 2 baby fingers.

Slower on ergo, no numbness.

Either okay IMHO

BEATS having the ones with the mouse pad @ thumbs!
YES!! have used many, the split ones are great, but NOTHING (nm)
