Her exam showed a sterile speculum exam with mucus and blood, positive nitrazine, but negative ferning initially. Her AFI was 6.6, which was decreased from 12 on her presentation for her version in the morning. Her cervix was 1 cm visually. Tp was admitted to labor and delivery, remained flat in bed and hydration. Sterile speculum exam was repeated and AFI was repeated. Her AFI continued to be low. She started to develop vaginal bleeding, started to leak more fluid, and contractions began to increase. Given the patient was GBS positive, Ancef was given for preop prophlaxis.
