knee diagnosis: "quicktrukatory" bursitis

She is complaining of pain in the lateral aspect of her knee. It appears to be in the iliotibial band coming from the greater trochanter. She is very tender over the greater trochanter. The knee has no effusion. There is tenderness, but it is sort of global, over the front of the knee. I do not see any fixed areas of pain in the knee.
