A 16-cm femoral strut allograft was applied to the

lateral femur using four cerclage cables. A "fluosopy" was used to localize this with the center of the strut graft at the tip of the femoral component. This was done to "advas" his lateralis splitting approach, and tp tolerated the surgery without complication.
