OK I am back on this again. Closed wound (see inside)

reveals the presence of a laceration to the distal volar pad. Laceration was well approximated, minimal bleeding, and was a Y shape. It appeared to be very superficial with no involvement of the nail.I have spoken to the patient about treatment options. It would be my recommendation, at this time, to close the wound with Steri-Strips and applied "tub son is" dressing. I feel that this will be as appropriate as sutures at this time.

'apply xxxx on his dressing" maybe as the word "applied" does not go with this sentence structure as is. Maybe whatever it is starts with the "d" sound?
