Pneumoperitoneum was "effected". The Veress needle was removed. A 5-mm trocar was placed through this. A "spunt green" telescope was introduced. Under direct vision, a 12-mm trocar was placed two fingerbreadths above the pubic tubercle through a transverse incision just right at the midline. A 5-mm trocar was placed through the transverse incision in the right lower quadrant, superolateral to the internal ring.

the telescope would be blunt, but not sure about the second part of that. It is fingersbreadth and not fingerbreadths.

Zero Degree Storz (Hopkins) Telescope: We exclusively use this telescope for Laparoscopic Repair of Inguino-Femoral Hernias. It is clearly inefficient in the performance of complex laparoscopic procedures.
30 or 45 Degree Storz (Hopkins) Telescope: This is the trocar we use preferentially for all advanced laparoscopic procedures.
Zero Degree Storz (Hopkins) Telescope with 6 mm Instrument Channel: This telescope is used for single trocar laparoscopic appendectomy and Lap TAH-BSO.
