Doc dictates:
ABG showed a pH of 3.9, 44 and 67.

He says the values as three nine, fourty-four and sixty-seven.

Would you type it like I have it?

Yes, I would put 3.9 for the pH...could the other values be for the rest of the ABG's..ie. PO2 and PCO2, respectively? I would type it like you have it ...if this is how he dictated it...unless you feel uncomfortable about it. I wouldn't assume the PO2 and PCO2 and put those in front of those two values.....my opinion.

If in doubt, flag.....I find that the docs would much prefer you to flag than their dictation be wrong (on either your part or their's)

again, my opinion..maybe someone else knows more.......

readings of the pH. Normal is 7.35-7.45. First value was extremely low and then the other two show a rise.

My answer sucks since he says forty and sixty and not four (nm)
