THIS WAS A RESPONSE I GAVE YESTERDAY....THIS MAY HELP YOU IN THE FUTURE!!!! I AGREE WITH THE LAST POST...IT IS AFFECT.
I had a speech pathologist clue me in on this........not that I still don't get it confused.........lol
aff'ect - facial expression (he had a flat affect)
affect' - to change in some way (her clothes affected the
(verb) way she felt)
effect - result (her clothes had an effect on the way
(noun) she felt)
effect - brought about or caused (the drug effected great
(verb) change in the patient)
